To work in mechanics where technology is getting more advanced as years go by first you need to have an understanding of electronics and computers. Then they also must be able to complete tasks with a sort of time not just freely. Being in the Military depending on your situation you may not have long periods of time to work so you need an understanding of working precicely and moderately paced. You at least need to be a graduate of high school first but also depending on the job you are persuing in the military you may need extra training. Computer science is useful and would give someone with no computer education a better knowing of their job they are going for. Most things you find in the military that work with mechanics have a computer chip inside of them and work with electronics. They use computer science in mechanics by using the different tools that are supposed to read certain statistics about a tank for example. A tank has mulitple computers and devices like radar that use computers to operate and computer science gives a better knowledge on how to fix one of these things if it was to stop working.
